Orthotics in Romsey

About our orthotics lab
In-House orthotics manufacture
I am fascinated by the mechanics of human movement and …. I love working with my hands. It seems natural that the design and manufacture of orthotics was an extension of my work diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions. In the 20 years that I have been prescribing orthotics I have never used a commercial orthotics lab, preferring to make my own.
I have the freedom to design and make your orthotics exactly as needed, without the inevitable loss of accuracy that happens when you send a prescription off to be designed and made at a remote lab. Not to mention the considerable savings in time and cost. Whether you need orthotics for your ice skates, gum boots or just your favorite pair of loafers, our orthotics are truly unique, individually made to solve your lower limb problems.
In the last 20 years I have probably made more than 25000 pairs of insoles of all shapes and sizes. These have been designed for a range of lower limb conditions, to fit into a complete spectrum of footwear. I have kept up with the latest industry design and manufacturing trends and now have a complete CAD-CAM set up where your orthotics will be made to the highest possible standards.

Our Patient Reviews
“In 2019 Chris did a full, professional assessment of my feet as well as a comprehensive video gait analysis while running on the treadmill. My orthotics were made to fit into my running shoes, and I have never looked back. Chris is a highly experienced podiatrist who has extensive experience in working with athletes during his time at SSISA, as well as with people with other types of podiatry needs. He was very thorough and gave me a detailed, clear explanation of his findings. We had a follow up assessment once my orthotics were ready for collection. I still use those orthotics during my training and have been injury free for all these years. I can highly recommend Chris for all your podiatry needs!”
